Friends, Family, and Football

Today was one of those days where it would have been easy to have a bad case of the Mondays. It was back to reality after a fun, three-day weekend. However, I decided to be thankful for a great weekend instead of dwelling on the fact that it's over now. Let's recap:

Friends--
Friday night included a road trip to Birmingham for Mallory's birthday celebration. Everyone has a great time talking, laughing, and catching up. We don't get to see each other nearly as frequently as we would like, so we make the most of our time together.

{taleeda court roomies; suz, jess, and kristi were greatly missed}

SIDE NOTE: I had the best roommates a girl could ever wish for. They will forever be known as the Auburn "roomies". More on these amazing ladies to come in later posts.

We relocated to a restaurant in downtown Mountain Brook. The laughter and hilarity were in no short supply.

Lee and I also got to spend some time with our dear friends Jospeh and Carlie. We couldn't be more excited as these two prepare to get hitched in May 2012.

Family--
Before the game Saturday, I spent some time at the Auburn cheerleader tailgate visting my cousin, Mary Catherine. I'm pretty sure she's the CUTEST.THING.EVER.

I also spent some much needed QT with this lovely lady this weekend. Our hour-long coffee date Sunday afternoon was far too short. I do believe we could talk oursleves hoarse if there were enough hours in the day. Sweet cousin- You're the best.

Football--
To say I love Auburn football is a vast understatement. That actually goes for anything Auburn. I love being part of the Auburn family and wouldn't trade it for anything. Win or lose... I believe in Auburn and LOVE IT!

I leave you with this...
My dear friend Natalie and I share a Primetime television addiction, but her confession Friday night may warrrant some therapy on her part. She disclosed her frequent inclination to pray for the characters of her favorite TV shows.
"Like when Izzie had cancer on Grey's Anatomy."
Oh sweet Natalie, it gives me such comfort to know that if you are inclined to pray for fictional characters, you most definitely 'got my back.'

"Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tounge with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations, 'The LORD has done great things for them.'" Psalm 126:2
